Ralph joined Brett and Randall as an Independent Financial Adviser in 1992, having gained 5 years experience both training and working as a consultant for Aviva (then Norwich Union).
He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Finance Society, having gained Advanced Qualifications in 1993.
Ralph’s role within the firm is to advise clients in reaching their financial goals, particularly those approaching or actually in retirement. His experience and knowledge helps his clients to plan and transition towards a financially stable retirement, ensuring their objectives continue to be met by the ongoing management of their plans.
Ralph also provides advice to both individuals and corporate clients on personal life cover, keyman protection and shareholder protection, ensuring peace of mind for all concerned.
Ian joined Brett and Randall in 1994 having entered the financial services industry with Scottish Widows in 1984, progressing to a Regional Pensions Consultant in 1987. Ian left Scottish Widows in 1993 to begin a career as an Independent Financial Adviser.
Ian is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Finance Society and holds a Diploma in Financial Planning.
A Director of the firm, Ian has built long-standing relationships with clients, including those introduced by Chartered Accountants, and he specialises in providing investment and pensions planning advice.
Angela has worked in the Financial Services Industry since 1982, joining Brett and Randall in 1990. Angela is a Director of the company and serves as Compliance and Money Laundering Officer; ensuring all business is transacted in accordance with the Regulator’s rules and principles.
Angela oversees the management of the administration teams that support the Financial Advisers within the business. The teams understand the importance of building a relationship with both advisers and clients to ensure a seamless service can be provided.
Richard has gained a wealth of experience since first entering the financial services industry in 1984. Richard trained at Standard Life where he spent more than 20 years before joining The Ward Mitchell partnership, which was subsequently acquired by Oval Group who in turn were sold to Arthur J Gallagher. Richard joined Brett and Randall in 2016.
He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Finance Society, holding the qualification of Chartered Insurer.
Richard’s primary role is to help and advise clients with all aspects of their Financial Planning, in particular those approaching, or in retirement, where his specialist knowledge and experience has helped clients with the transition from working to retired life.
Janice has gained a wealth of experience in the Financial Services Industry, since first joining Phoenix Assurance in 1983. Janice subsequently worked with Friends Provident and Norwich Union before joining Brett and Randall in 1993.
Janice is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, a fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner, being one of the first people to be awarded this ‘gold standard’ in financial planning examinations. In 2011 Janice served as President of the Insurance Institute of Leicester.
In addition to providing client support and technical services to our Managing Director Ralph Mitchell and his clients, Janice helps and assists her team members in their delivery of our client service proposition.
Helen joined Brett and Randall in 1988. Her long service and the vast experience she has gained in all matters of client support and administration, provide excellent support to our Director Ian Dunk and his clients.
Helen is also responsible for the management of the team and provides a critical link between the Financial Services team, advisers, clients and the investment and service providers we recommend to our clients to ensure we continue to deliver a first class service.
Helen also oversees the administration of specialist pension schemes, including property purchase for the Small Self Administered Schemes (SSAS) and Self Invested Personal Pension Schemes (SIPP) we administer.
Jayne joined Brett and Randall in 1999 having previously worked for Canada Life where her financial services career began in 1983.
Jayne has a great knowledge and understanding of the medical underwriting required for insurance applications to ensure the speedy and efficient processing of life policy applications.
Jayne also checks the accuracy of issued policy documentation, investment fund switches and provides key client support services to Janice and her fellow team members.
Carole joined Brett and Randall in 2001 having previously worked in the banking sector.
In addition to her role in providing full client support to clients of Janice’s team, including fund research and valuations to our private clients Carole also ensures the smooth running of a number of Group Pension Schemes that we administer.
Chelsey joined Brett and Randall in 2008 as a member of Helen’s team and also delivers full client support to Richard Jackson’s clients.
In addition Chelsey’s responsibilities include liaising with Pension and Investment companies concerning research of client’s investment and pension plans, along with the presentation of client valuations and administration of existing business.
Anne-Marie joined Brett and Randall in 2003 as the company’s Account Manager, responsible for all aspects of our accounting, including management accounts and information, as well as other business related matters, associated with ensuring the smooth running of the financial side of our business.
